Rainy Days

At work....Its very dull and dreary today.. The rain is encircling us it seems. Our building sits out on a causeway, surrounded by water and the occasional office building or restaurant, leading to a long bridge. Our building is glass all around and its amazing the things you'll see from our 6th floor view...water spouts, dolphins, schools of fish..all these things you never really think about and just take for granted. Unfortunately, we also are privy to a small beach so we get to see it all, literally! I am feeling content and rather happy today, despite the fact that my car is still out of commission. V(my hubby) and I have been getting along pretty nicely. I tell you tho, this marriage thing is no joke... We've known each other for 7 years and yet there are still so many things to learn about this person. Ive always heard that the first 3 years are the hardest, and I can attest to that, fa sho! I only pray that we get better with time...Having lil man is a blessing though, because we will always have that in common. We had a bond before that, and now it is even stronger with the shortie. Right now as I am writing this and staring out the windows, I wishing we had all just taken the day off and snuggled up in bed together, watchin cheesy daytime tv, or a overrated movie.... We dont have enough of that, family time. I am hoping as we make that progression into the new house that things will become a bit slower and we can sit back and enjoy each other and just relish the days that we are given together. Anywho...back to the J O B. Gotta stay productive... ;)
