And the drama unfolds....
Current mood: Frustrated
Current music: PC fan
Ok so I am sitting here at work, mindlessly browsing the net, as I help our help desk out and earn some OT while in the process... Then it hits me..I HAVE NO CAR TO SPEAK OF RIGHT NOW!!! My car conked out on me this past Friday(timing belt broke), so now I am stuck car pooling with my main squeeze until it gets replaced...Not to make it sound like that, because its not. He is great, I love him to death, but I do enjoy my time alone, and unfortunately, my car(94 Maxima) was one of those places where i was all by myself. I drive a good 45 minutes to and from work every day, so that is some valuable time to really think, ya know.. I think that's why Ive always like long trips too...You can just sit back and let your thoughts flow freely, and gather them back together, all in the span of one trip. Anyway, this is a major dilemma because his car is not the best(93 Accord)and is probably not up to all the pressure we are putting on it now. My car is going to be EXTREMELY expensive to fix...so now do we just fix it and hope the new parts dont overwork the old ones and end up causing yet another catastrophe, or do we splurge and get a new car altogether??? As Im sure some of you out there with kids know, that is not as easy a decision as it may seem...For one, we are currently in the process of building our first house. That is expensive all in itself.. For another both of our cars have been paid for for a very long time, and I cannot fathom having a car payment suddenly, no matter how bad I want to flex in that 745i...ummmm yea right..but I hope you feel me. And lastly, but certainly not least, are the kids. They are very well taken care of, all of them. The step kids are a little older, than mine, who is 14months, but they all have different needs and different things going on. So you see my predicament? This is frustrating, to say the least. Maybe I need to just set it off like my girl Jada did...that would solve all these petty problems ;)
